Stake Legacy of Dead: RTP and Volatility

Legacy of Dead is the Egyptian entry in Play'n GO's "Dead" series, next to Book of Dead, Ghost of Dead and Secret of Dead. It was released on 2 January 2020 and Stake lists it in its Play'n GO lobby.

Stake's game page shows a 96.58% RTP, which leaves a 3.42% house edge: over a huge number of spins the game is built to hand back C$96.58 of every C$100 wagered. Nobody plays that many spins in one sitting, so the second label matters more: Stake calls Legacy of Dead high variance, with wins that come less often and swing wider. The same game can run with another RTP setting elsewhere, so check the figure on the page you open.

The table turns 96.58% into Canadian dollars.

"Expected back" is what the maths returns on that total: C$1,000 wagered comes back as C$965.80 on paper, and the rest is the house edge. These are expected values only. A high-variance slot rarely lands on its average, so after a few hundred spins you can sit well above or below these lines.

All four results are averages. "Spins the balance lasts" divides your balance by the average cost per spin, about 1.7 cents at a C$0.50 bet. That hides the swing: a real balance can vanish in a few dozen spins or, less often, multiply. If the note appears, your plan wagers more than your balance, so it only runs that long if wins top it up.
